Russia claims its natural gas pipeline facilities are attacked again
Gazprom, the Russian Natural Gas Industry Company, announced on its official website on the 19th that the infrastructure ensuring the supply of gas to the “TurkStream” and “Blue Stream” pipelines has been attacked again.
The company said the attacks occurred from the 17th to the 19th, and such attacks are on the rise.
One gas compressor station alone was attacked by 22 drones.
All attacks were repelled, and the relevant facilities were not damaged.
During a phone call on the 17th, the foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey agreed that ensuring the safety of energy pipelines between the two countries is crucial and that conditions must be created for the continuous operation of Russia-Turkey strategic energy projects.
Gazprom announced on the 11th that since February 24th, its critical energy infrastructure in southern Russia has been attacked more than 10 times, and these facilities provide support for the operation of the “TurkStream” and “Blue Stream” pipelines.
