Recently, I set a keyword for myself: slow.
On-chain transactions are moving too fast, and when people get anxious, they tend to draw the wrong lines or select the wrong chains...
Now I simply treat the mainnet as a "big event window," only switching to it for major trades or to add large liquidity; for other daily small operations, I leave them on L2 to save gas and maintain a better mindset.
Anyway, confirming after a few more minutes of waiting is actually a decent experience.
But slow doesn’t mean lying flat either.
Every time I cross chains, I first try a small amount to confirm the transfer before adding more; I keep small change separated on different chains in my wallet to avoid the chaos of scrambling for gas at the last minute.
Recently, the group has been arguing about privacy coins and compliance in mixing coins, and it’s pretty torn.
I feel even more: don’t go down a path that makes you uneasy just for “speed” and “savings.”
A little slower, at least you can sleep well.
That’s all for now.
