Just caught wind that Cboe's making a play in the prediction market space with something pretty stripped down - basically yes or no trades. Kind of interesting how the traditional finance side is jumping into what crypto communities have been experimenting with for a while now.
The whole binary options trading angle is getting more accessible apparently. They're going after that simplicity factor that makes prediction markets attractive in the first place. No complex derivatives, no multi-leg strategies, just pick a side and see if you're right.
This feels like the institutional world waking up to what decentralized prediction platforms have been doing. Though I'm curious how they differentiate when the core appeal is literally just picking yes or no. Anyway, another sign that this market structure is becoming mainstream.
