been watching this play out and it's honestly wild how bitcoin couldn't break through and hold that $70k level even with all the positive wall street noise we've been seeing lately. like, we had one of the best weeks for institutional adoption headlines in forever, but the price just kept bouncing off that resistance.
right now it's sitting around $74k which is interesting because it shows there's still buying pressure, but that initial push to $70k+ just didn't have the staying power everyone expected. you see this pattern a lot where the narrative gets really bullish, mainstream media picks it up, and then the actual price action tells a different story.
thinking about it, the gap between what's happening on wall street and what's actually moving the needle on price is pretty telling. sure, institutional interest is growing, but the market's still testing these levels pretty carefully. makes you wonder if we're just building a base or if there's something keeping bigger money from fully committing at these prices.
