Industry insiders have learned that the China Securities Industry Association recently issued a notice within the industry, officially launching the digital capability maturity assessment for securities firms. The assessment aims to guide industry organizations to systematically “take stock of their assets,” identify issues and shortcomings in digital transformation through benchmarking, and clarify the future directions and key areas for digital capability development. The results of the assessment will also serve as an important reference for regulatory authorities to comprehensively understand the overall digital level of the industry and to formulate relevant policies. The concurrently issued “Securities Company Digital Capability Maturity Assessment Plan (2026)” details the composition of the securities firm’s digital capability system, the classification of maturity levels, and the significance of digital capability assessment work. It also introduces the basic requirements, process, and specific evaluation criteria that need to be followed during the assessment. Additionally, the plan provides the calculation method for the assessment results. (China Securities Golden Bull )
