ME News Report, April 9th (UTC+8), gaming giant Valve has been revealed to be developing an internal artificial intelligence tool called “SteamGPT,” primarily aimed at improving customer service efficiency and internal task management capabilities. According to leaked backend code information, the system includes two main modules: “SteamGPT” and “SteamGPTSummary,” which can automatically retrieve and summarize player account information (such as registration duration, credit scores, etc.), assisting customer service in quickly assessing user situations and resolving issues. At the same time, the tool can also intelligently summarize support requests and internal tasks to optimize team workflows. Currently, SteamGPT is positioned as an internal productivity tool and is not open to users. Valve prefers to leverage AI’s retrieval and summarization capabilities to enhance operational efficiency rather than directly introducing a conversational AI for players. (Source: BlockBeats)
