Prediction markets are unlikely to reach the heights of the Memecoin sector, and may even fall short of Onchain Perp.

Because it has skipped the early PvE stage and gone straight to the meat grinder phase.
The best way to attract participation is by offering visible positive EV, or at least the illusion of positive EV, but prediction markets are already showing stable negative EV characteristics.
