Local time on April 8, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform “Truth Social,” saying that any country that provides Iran with military weapons will have “any and all goods” it sells to the United States “immediately subject to” a “50% tariff,” and calling the measure “effective immediately,” with “no exclusions or exemptions.”
