Air raid alarms sound across multiple Gulf countries; residents are advised to stay indoors.

People’s Finance News, April 8: Local time early on April 8, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia issued emergency security alerts one after another. In some countries, air-defense alarms sounded; it is reported that air-defense systems are intercepting hostile airborne targets. Residents were urged to stay highly vigilant and remain indoors. The UAE said it is responding to a missile threat and urged the public to stay in safe places. Qatar said the level of security threat is high, urged people to stay indoors, and then said it is intercepting incoming missiles. Kuwait said it is intercepting incoming missiles and drones. Bahrain’s air-defense alarms sounded, urging the public to take shelter nearby. Saudi Arabia issued an early security alert for the capital Riyadh and the northern border areas. (CCTV News)
