Data: MakerDAO co-founder Rune continues to increase short positions on the S&P 500, with holdings reaching $2.57 million.

ChainCatcher message, according to monitoring by Hyperinsight, shows that over the past 1 hour, an address (0x30d3…) related to Rune, a co-founder of MakerDAO, rolled over and increased its short position on its SP500 (S&P 500 mapping contract), adding a total of 68.76 lots, worth approximately $454k.

After continuous additions, the address currently holds a total of 390 lots of SP500 shorts with 20x leverage; the overall position size has risen to $2.58 million, with an average entry price of $6615.5. As of the time of publication, the position is modestly in profit at about $2,300, with a liquidation price set at $6876.

The address previously held long positions on CL (WTI crude oil) and BRENTOIL (Brent crude oil) on-chain, and had also opened XYZ100 and ETH short positions as hedges; it now simultaneously uses the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 as hedge positions.
