Domestic commodity futures open, the petrochemical sector leads in gains

Jingji Daily AI Express, April 7. Domestic commodity futures opened higher; the energy and chemicals sector led the gainers. Ethylene glycol, plastic, and methanol rose more than 5%, polypropylene rose more than 4%, and pure benzene and para-xylene rose more than 3%. On the decline side, live hogs, caustic soda, apples, and glass fell more than 1%, while rapeseed meal, aluminum oxide, soybean meal, and coking coal posted modest declines.
