White House press secretary Leavitt said: “We are currently discussing the possibility of holding in-person meetings, but before any formal announcement by the president or the White House, nothing has been decided.” The officials said the talks would most likely be held in Islamabad, with Pakistan’s Deputy Speaker serving as a mediator attending.
