Russia claims that the maritime transfer facilities at the Black Sea port were attacked

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on the 6th that from the night of April 5 to the early hours of the 6th, Ukraine used fixed-wing attack drones to strike the maritime transshipment facilities of the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk in Russia’s south in order to disrupt the global oil and gas market and cut off the supply of oil products to European consumers. The statement said that the Ukrainian side deliberately attacked the facilities of the international oil company “Caspian Pipeline Consortium,” causing damage to the pipeline of the facility’s oil unloading terminal and the oil loading and unloading terminal, and that four oil storage tanks caught fire. Ukraine has not yet responded to this. (CCTV News)
