Foldable iPhone prototype encounters testing issues, causing Apple to drop over 5%

《Nikkei Asia》, citing insiders, says the foldable iPhone ran into setbacks during the engineering testing phase, which could delay its production and shipment plans.

On Tuesday, shares of Apple fell as much as 5.1% at one point due to the news, and still closed down 2.1%.

The report says that because the engineering issues are more complex, the time needed to resolve them is longer than expected, and the first batch of shipments may be delayed by several months.
