Iran Closes Communication Channels with the U.S., Oil Prices Rise, Gold and U.S. Stocks Decline

On April 7, following Iran’s closure of communication channels with the U.S., spot gold fell nearly $40, dropping below $4,610 per ounce. WTI crude oil increased by $4 during the day, a rise of 3.64%. Both the Nasdaq and S&P 500 indices declined by over 1% during the day.
