Vice President of the United States: There will still be extensive negotiations before the deadline
U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that before the deadline set by President Donald Trump for Iran—either to open the Strait of Hormuz or face U.S. strikes on civilian facilities—"there will still be extensive negotiations."
"The deadline set by the President is about 12 hours from now, and we will see what happens," Vance said when asked whether Iran will reach an acceptable agreement. He added, "But before that, there will still be extensive negotiations, and I hope we can ultimately reach a proper resolution."
