Some members of Wynn Resorts Ltd.'s design and development team for the $5.1 billion Al Marjan Island resort in the UAE were evacuated following Iranian attacks in the region, though construction is ongoing. The resort, scheduled to open in 2027, is near Dubai, which has experienced drone and missile attacks during the ongoing conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran. This update was provided during a Nevada Gaming Commission meeting where a Wynn executive received licensing, and other executives for Resorts World Las Vegas and Bally’s Corp. were also approved.
