The Yangtze River Delta railways will send approximately 12.428 million passengers during the Qingming Festival mini holiday in 2026.
People’s Finance and News, April 7—The reporter learned from the Shanghai Railway Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Shanghai Railway Group”) that during the just-concluded Qingming holiday period (April 4 to 6), railways in the Yangtze River Delta sent about 12.43M passengers, averaging 4.14M passengers per day. This was about 1.25M more passengers than in the same period last year, representing an increase of more than 11%. Of this total, 4.66 million passengers were sent on April 4, setting a new record for the single-day passenger volume on Yangtze River Delta railways. (CCTV News)
