Iranian armed forces vow to defend the homeland until the last drop of blood

Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff said in a statement released on March 12 local time that it would do everything in its power to defend national security under the leadership of Iran’s Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mujtaba Khamenei. The statement said that, under orders from the Supreme Leader, Iran’s Armed Forces would defend the achievements of the Islamic Revolution with even more resolute determination, and would defend the country’s interests and security “until the last drop of blood is shed.” The statement also said that Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff and the Iranian Central Command reaffirm their loyalty to the Supreme Leader and, under his command, will use all capabilities and resources to achieve the goals of the Islamic Revolution.
