The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Wednesday that Toyota will recall 144,200 vehicles in the United States because, when these vehicles are shifted into reverse, the rearview camera may fail to display images, increasing the risk of a collision.

The NHTSA said this recall involves certain 2022-2025 Lexus NX350 and NX250 models, 2023-2026 Lexus RX350 models, and 2024-2026 Lexus TX350 models.

The NHTSA said dealers will update the software or replace the rearview camera for free as needed.
