So I was digging through some recent congressional filings and found something interesting about what Nancy Pelosi is investing in right now. Her latest 2026 moves just got disclosed and they're pretty telling about where smart money is flowing. The portfolio shows she's doubling down on the same thesis a lot of us have been watching.
The main story here is that Pelosi and her husband Paul are clearly betting big on AI and tech. They just exercised a bunch of call options on Nvidia, Alphabet, and Amazon - all mega-cap plays that have been crushing it. Nvidia alone was up 41% from when they bought the calls a year ago. Alphabet jumped 74.6% over the same period. These aren't random picks - they're the core infrastructure plays for the AI boom.
What's interesting about what Nancy Pelosi is investing in is that it's not just the obvious mega-caps. They also have positions in Tempus AI, which is focused on AI-driven precision medicine, and Vistra, a power company that benefits from all the electricity demand from AI data centers. The Vistra move is clever - Meta just signed a 20-year deal with them for over 2,600 megawatts of power. So they're not just buying the AI winners, they're buying the infrastructure that enables them.
The one outlier is AllianceBernstein, a financial services company, which suggests maybe some portfolio diversification. But honestly, when you look at the overall pattern of what Nancy Pelosi is investing in, it's a pretty coherent AI-focused strategy. They bought five stocks this way and the portfolio returned about 41.7% over just over a year - nearly double the S&P 500. That's the kind of track record that makes people pay attention to her moves.
