The Fifth Second Members’ Representative Conference of the Shanghai New Hushang Federation and the Second New Hushang High-Quality Development Conference were held in Shanghai on March 29. The event was attended by Yan Jianjun, President of the Fifth Council of the Shanghai New Hushang Federation and Chairman of Zhida Group, who delivered remarks.

Chairman Yan said that 2025 is the inaugural year of the Fifth Council of the Shanghai New Hushang Federation in terms of its duties. Over the course of the year, a total of 259 activities were held, 116 new members were added, and all work has achieved solid results.

He noted that the Shanghai New Hushang Federation remains committed to developing new quality productive forces. It has held more than 100 innovation-focused activities, brought in more than 30 science and technology enterprises such as Oracle, and formed an innovation matrix through six industrial sub-committees and various specialized committees. To help members integrate into the dual circulation model, it organized 35 cross-regional government-enterprise matching events, hosted nearly 20 international exchanges by leveraging the Global Development Center, and established strategic cooperation with 18 institutions.

He pointed out that 2026 is the inaugural year of the “15th Five-Year Plan and the 5-year plan following it,” and the Shanghai New Hushang Federation will focus on strengthening guidance, prioritizing innovation, deepening opening-up, optimizing services, and promoting spirit, while improving the service system. It will drive the development of hard-core technologies such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, and biopharmaceuticals, establish an intelligent manufacturing industrial sub-committee, and connect research with capital.
