CoinWorld reports that on April 7th, U.S. Senate Banking Committee member Bill Hagerty stated on Monday that after months of delays in Congress, he expects a viable pathway for the digital asset market structure to emerge within the next few weeks. Speaking at the Digital Assets and Emerging Technologies Policy Summit held at Vanderbilt University, he said that his Republican colleagues plan to push the bill through the Banking Committee starting next week. "I hope we can consolidate all this work soon," Hagerty said when discussing the Senate bill. "On the Banking Committee side, I believe we are very close to the goal. I expect that in the next work cycle starting next Monday, we will submit the bill to the committee, so in the coming weeks, we should be able to get it to the Banking Committee."
