On March 12, at the “Lobster Security Media Exchange” held in Beijing, Zhou Hongyi said that the emergence of OpenClaw (“Lobster”) will help spread the agent concept rapidly in China, and also drive AI’s evolution from the stage of “being able to answer questions” to the stage of “being able to get hands-on and do work.” He noted that the AI industry is currently entering a dual-track evolution stage of “large models + agents”: large models continuously improve cognitive capabilities, while agents strengthen execution capabilities. “Lobster” represents a new agent paradigm that enables large-model capabilities to be more directly integrated with enterprise business through a “small entry point, deep execution” approach, thereby promoting implementation of practical applications. Zhou Hongyi believes that if “Lobster” can be spread in government institutions and enterprises, it will help the public gradually accept the agent concept, which is of great significance for the development of China’s AI industry. He also mentioned that as agents can run on ordinary computers, the future may accelerate the emergence of new startup models such as “one-person companies” (OPC). (Jiemian News)
