OpenClaw founder responds to Anthropic's ban: The project is independent and had previously invited Anthropic to join a non-profit organization.

ME News message, April 4 (UTC+8). After Anthropic announced a ban on OpenClaw, its founder Peter Steinberger issued an urgent clarification: OpenClaw is an independently operated project, and it has no connection to his personal joining of OpenAI. He said that OpenClaw previously proactively invited Anthropic and more than a dozen other companies to join its nonprofit organization, but Anthropic did not respond, while most of the other companies did. Because Peter joined OpenAI in February, Anthropic, citing resource optimization, cut off Claude’s subscription support for OpenClaw. (Source: PANews)
