GM design exec Sharon Gauci, who redesigned GM logo, set to retire

Sharon Gauci, GM’s executive director of design for global Buick and GMC brands, is set to retire after 22 years with the company on May 1. Gauci was responsible for the redesign of the GM logo in 2021, and also oversaw the EV-era design for Buick and GMC, including the Sierra EV and the Buick Wildcat EV concept. Her work also included selecting Cadillac’s upgraded color and material palette and contributing to the Cadillac Lyriq’s design.
