In March, Beijing's second-hand housing transaction volume reached a new high in nearly 15 months.

According to the online signing data from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in March this year, the online signed transaction volume of second-hand houses in Beijing was 19,886 units, setting a new single-month transaction volume record in nearly 15 months. The nearly 20,000 transactions in Beijing in March also marked the highest single-month second-hand house transaction volume since December 2024. Compared to February this year, the second-hand house transaction volume in March increased by approximately 145% month-on-month, nearly 2.5 times.

The nearly 20k-unit March volume in Beijing also marked the highest record for single-month second-hand housing transactions in Beijing since December 2024. Compared with this year’s February, the second-hand housing transaction volume in March rose sharply month-over-month by about 145%, which is close to 2.5 times.
