Iranian Media Reports Multiple US Soldiers Killed in Pilot Rescue Operation
On April 5, Xinhua News Agency cited Iran’s Fars News Agency reporting that several US soldiers were killed during an operation to rescue a pilot from a downed fighter jet. Sources also indicated that the US military attempted to destroy the wreckage of the downed aircraft and even the bodies of the deceased US soldiers.
