Zelensky: Ukraine is willing to exchange intercepting drones for Patriot missiles

Ukrainian President Zelensky says he is willing to cooperate with partners in the Middle East to exchange interceptor drones for “Patriot” missiles. Zelensky, in an interview with Italy’s public broadcasting company, said that partners in the Middle East have “Patriot” missiles, but using the missiles to shoot down drones is too costly; what is needed more is interceptor drones, and Ukraine has interceptor drones. He said Ukraine received signals from Middle East partners; they want to obtain Ukraine’s “expertise,” and Ukraine is open to technical exchanges and a swap of weapons. Zelensky also said that, affected by the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine has proposed to the United States that the location of the three-way talks involving the United States and Russia be changed, and that the talks will be postponed for a period of time.
