Jin Steel Holding Group's 1750ESP production line officially starts operation
People’s Finance News, April 5—According to a report from the Shanxi Economic Daily, recently, JIN Steel Holding Group’s 1750ESP production line officially started operations, marking that the hydrogen metallurgy and silicon steel new materials project—with a total investment of RMB 14.8 billion and an annual output of 2 million tons—has entered the substantive construction stage. The plan is to complete within 18 months a full-process system covering an intelligent raw-material yard, hydrogen-rich metallurgy, refining and rolling, and waste-heat power generation. Its three most breakthrough world-class innovations are as follows: First, the world’s first high-performance silicon steel production line that integrates thin-plate headless casting and rolling into one: it enables a seamless connection from molten steel to finished coils, significantly shortening the production process and improving product accuracy and stability. Second, the world’s first mixed production line for high-silicon (Si 3.2%) silicon steel and carbon steel: developed jointly with Austria’s Andritz to overcome industry technical bottlenecks in co-linear production of different materials. Third, a full-process Industry 4.0 intelligent steel plant production line: developed together with Prutec and Siemens to enable routine operation of a “black-lights factory,” setting a new global benchmark for intelligent steel manufacturing.
