【Caixin】 After years of game-playing, Guilin Airlines has finally officially “fly solo” after breaking away from HNA. HNA Group has transferred all its shares in Guilin Airlines to Guilin’s state-owned assets. Caixin asked the HNA side about the share transfer in question; the response was to evaluate that “each is doing fine.”

On April 3, Guilin Tourism (00978.SZ) announced that the equity structure of Guilin Airlines Tourism Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Guilin Air Tourism”), which holds more than 5% of its shares, is expected to change: the 65% stake in Guilin Air Tourism held by the HNA group will be transferred to a local state-owned assets platform.

According to the announcement, on March 31, HNA Aviation Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “HNA”), Beijing Capital Airlines Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Capital Airlines”), Guilin Air Tourism, and Guilin City Transportation Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Guilin Jaitou”) signed a share transfer agreement. HNA Group will transfer its 33% equity interest in Guilin Air Tourism, and Capital Airlines will transfer its 32% equity interest in Guilin Air Tourism, to Guilin Jaitou.
