Japanese gasoline prices continue to rise

Due to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, Japan’s gasoline prices, which heavily depend on imported oil from the Middle East, have surged sharply in recent days. On the 11th, a reporter at a gas station in Tokyo saw that the retail price of gasoline has risen from more than 150 yen per liter a week earlier (1 US dollar is about 159 yen) to over 190 yen per liter.
