Let's be honest about what's happening in the industry. KOLs are essentially the faces that set the tone and carry weight in the ecosystem. In the past, this title meant something valuable—recognition of leaders who truly understood their craft. But somewhere along the way, everything got distorted.
Now, you see how this status has turned into a convenient tool for manipulation. People use their influence not to help and educate, but to extract maximum profit. And that's sad because such KOLs undermine trust in the entire industry.
If you've chosen the path of an influencer, the main rule is simple: don't chase after money. If your main goal is to get rich, being a KOL is not your path. It's incompatible. Honesty is needed, along with focus and purpose in the right direction, not using your status as a shortcut to personal gain.
It seems to me that many KOLs collude with exchanges, thinking that this will bring them joy and profit. But they don't understand one thing—sooner or later, regular investors see and remember all of this. They compile a blacklist. All bad actions surface eventually; it's inevitable.
The industry can either change for the better or, over time, lose all credibility and become despised. I hope KOLs realize this and draw the right conclusions.
