Over the past few weeks, I've been intermittently completing tasks on @pharos_network's AtlanticOcean Phase 3 Testnet, including DEX trading, cross-chain operations, check-ins, and Layer3-related activities. It seems TGE should be coming soon.

Points Activity:

My genuine take is that this project doesn't just stack parameters like many high TPS chains do—it has a clear financial infrastructure DNA.

About the team and background: Founder Wish Wu and core members come from the former Ant Group blockchain team. They've worked on Web2 projects with hundreds of millions of users and should have hands-on experience with compliance, real-time settlement, and large-scale concurrency.

On the technical side, the official documentation emphasizes a three-layer modular architecture:

1⃣L1-Base handles DA and hardware acceleration
2⃣L1-Core uses AsyncBFT + deep parallel execution, targeting sub-second finality and 30k+ TPS
3⃣L1-Extension supports SPN, allowing developers to rapidly deploy high-frequency trading or AI inference subnets, with restaking for shared security.

The Dual VM and Delta-Encoded storage optimization reportedly reduce storage overhead significantly.

While testing, the network felt quite smooth—fast transaction confirmations and a user-friendly interface. The testnet has been running for several months, accumulating substantial test transactions. Recently, it expanded the RealFi Alliance, joining partners like Dune and Anchorage Digital to focus on RWA transparency and standardization.

Token $PHRS has a total supply of 1 billion. Testnet activities track airdrop eligibility, though specific tokenomics haven't been fully disclosed yet. Funding includes Hack VC and others. Recently there's also a strategic partnership with GCL New Energy, with valuations rumored near $1 billion.

Overall, this project has certain distinctions in the RealFi track, especially regarding compliance-friendliness and institutional backing.

However, there are many high-performance L1s out there. Whether mainnet can actually sustain the claimed TPS, node decentralization levels, and how quickly RWA actually launches all depend on Q1-Q2 deliverables. Regulatory environment and TradFi adoption willingness are also major variables.
