ETF Midday Review | A-shares Fall Below 3900 Points, Oil & Gas and Energy Chemical Sectors Lead, S&P Oil & Gas ETF Invesco Up 8%

Gelonghui, March 23 — The three major A-share indices all declined in the morning session. By midday, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 2.5%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 2.53%, the ChiNext Index declined 2.44%, and the Beijing 50 Index decreased 2.95%. The combined half-day trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets was 14,691 billion yuan, an increase of 152 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Nearly 5,000 stocks in the market declined. Gold, basic metals, agriculture, aviation, semiconductors, and pharmaceutical sectors led the declines; computing hardware, AI applications, cloud computing, duty-free shops, artificial intelligence, and consumer electronics concepts also fell sharply. • Oil & Gas ETF Yinhua (563150) increased 0.47%

Energy chemicals sector:

• Energy Chemical ETF CCB (159981) up 6.50%
• Energy ETF GF (159945) up 0.68%

Coal and agricultural products sectors:

• Coal ETF Guotai (515220) up 1.71%
• Soybean Meal ETF Huaxia (159985) up 1.45%

Battery sector:

• Lithium Battery ETF ICBC (159840) up 0.81%
• Battery ETF Wanjia (159156) up 0.49%
• Battery ETF GF (159755) up 0.46%

Today, gold, agriculture, and communications sectors experienced deep corrections, with related ETFs leading declines:
