Shanghai Lianjia: 22,400 second-hand housing transactions from March 1 to March 23, an increase of 11% year-over-year

Viewpoint Network News: According to data released by Shanghai Lianjia Research Institute on March 24, from March 1 to March 23, 2026, Shanghai’s second-hand housing transactions reached 22,400 units, an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

It is reported that the average daily viewings by Shanghai Lianjia have increased by 30% compared to before the new real estate policies, the average daily new clients have increased by 51%, and the number of new listings compared to the pre-policy daily average has grown by 85%. Customer confidence in entering the market has significantly improved, and both viewings and transactions are very active.

In the previous week (March 9 to 15), the transaction volume was 7,233 units, setting a weekly transaction high since 2021.
