Recently, the ongoing scandal involving Mei Xiangrong, the head of the world’s largest law firm Yingke Law Firm, has continued to ferment, with his sister Mei Yaping’s Shanghai Yingke remaining at the center of the controversy.

On March 18, according to on-site investigations by the Daily Economic News, Mei Yaping’s “agent” appeared at the Shanghai Yingke investor reception point on Shaonian Village Road in Jing’an District, Shanghai, presenting two ten-year repayment plans. However, these plans were rejected by most investors due to unclear repayment entities, sources of funds, and the absence of interest or dividends, which were extremely low.
