On March 20, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Vice Chairman of the International Trade Negotiation Delegation Ling Ji met with Lin Yiming, Executive Vice President of Novo Nordisk Denmark. The two sides exchanged views on the company’s operations in China and the opportunities for open development in China. Ling Ji stated that in recent years, China’s technological innovation capability has rapidly improved, and the scale of the pharmaceutical and health industry has continued to expand. China is promoting high-quality economic development through new productive forces and has become a global hub for innovation. He hopes that Novo Nordisk will continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market and contribute to building a Healthy China. Lin Yiming expressed that Novo Nordisk is optimistic about China’s huge market potential and highly appreciates the Chinese government’s ongoing efforts to optimize the business environment and strengthen intellectual property protection.
