Google’s drone delivery startup Wing will begin residential delivery services in the San Francisco Bay Area within the next few months.

The company focuses on speeding up “last mile” delivery and says that launching services in San Francisco is part of its nationwide expansion plan.

Wing states that it has completed over 750,000 home deliveries so far in cities including Houston, Atlanta, and Dallas.

Founded in 2012, Wing was originally part of Google’s “moonshot factory” Google X. It initially tested in Google’s campus in Mountain View and later expanded to other communities in the Bay Area.
