Xiaopeng He sends a work commencement message: expects Xiaopeng Motors' overseas sales to double by 2026

Xinjingbao Shell Finance News (Reporter Zhang Bing) — On February 24, the first day back to work after the Year of the Horse Spring Festival holiday, XPeng Motors Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng sent a company-wide message. He Xiaopeng stated that by 2026, XPeng aims to become “an embodied intelligent company that fully transforms the technological exploration potential into scalable mass production momentum.” The three cutting-edge AI businesses—robots, flying cars, and Robotaxi (autonomous taxis)—will all be mass-produced in the same year. Regarding overseas automotive business, he hopes XPeng’s overseas sales will double by 2026, and by 2030, overseas sales will reach 1 million units, contributing over 70% of profits.

He Xiaopeng summarized the company’s global expansion strategy with eight words: “Sharp knife” to break through, “Red carpet” to attract talent. The “sharp knife” refers to products and markets: six vehicle models covering price ranges from 100,000 to 200,000 yuan, mainly targeting Israel, Germany, Norway, Thailand, and France; channel outlets will double to 680 this year, with lead volume also doubling. The “red carpet” pertains to delivery and service: improving certainty in delivery times, service response, energy refueling, and other aspects.

He Xiaopeng emphasized the importance of solidifying global supply and production capabilities. “Our supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, spare parts, and services are moving toward ‘global coordination.’ Many automakers’ globalization efforts have failed because their teams were not well-established and capabilities lagged, ultimately affecting quality and reputation. We must continuously build an efficient, scalable global supply and production system, upgrading in areas such as supply fulfillment, mass production, logistics support, and investment management. This is the foundation for XPeng’s globalization—no fluff, it must be real.”
