Securities Daily, February 26 — Wanshun New Materials stated during a survey that the company’s aluminum processing business has established an integrated industry chain for aluminum sheets, strips, and foil. Aluminum foil capacity: the company’s total aluminum foil capacity is planned at 255,000 tons, including: Jiangsu Zhongji mainly produces double-zero aluminum foil (used in packaging), with a capacity of 83,000 tons; Anhui Zhongji mainly produces battery aluminum foil, with existing capacity of 72,000 tons. A new 100,000-ton capacity for power and energy storage battery foil will be phased into production and gradually release capacity, with full completion of construction by the end of September. Aluminum sheet and strip capacity: Jiangsu and Anhui bases together have a capacity of 130,000 tons; Sichuan base has a capacity of 130,000 tons. The total existing capacity for aluminum sheets and strips is 260,000 tons.
