Ethereum Foundation Reveals Preliminary Roadmap with 7 Hard Forks Through 2029


Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake presented a preliminary network development roadmap, which includes 7 hard forks scheduled until the end of 2029. The plan highlights five focus areas: accelerating L1 finality, increasing L1 throughput to 10,000 TPS using zkEVM, L2 scaling, implementing post-quantum cryptography, and native L1 privacy to protect ETH transfers.
