The chief reporter learned on February 12th local time that Bulgarian President Rumen Radev appointed Bulgarian National Bank Deputy Governor Kristalina Georgieva as the caretaker Prime Minister. On the same day, Radev met with Georgieva at the presidential palace and authorized her to form the caretaker government. According to the Bulgarian constitution, after appointing the caretaker government, the president should organize parliamentary elections within two months. (CCTV News)
