J.M. Smucker Co. has appointed Katie Williams as its new chief marketing officer, effective March 9. Williams, with over 20 years of brand-building experience, previously served as U.S. chief marketing officer for Haleon and GSK. Her primary task will be to optimize Smucker’s portfolio of sweet baked snack brands, including the recently acquired Hostess brands, amidst challenges from a consumer shift towards healthier snacks.
