On the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, the New Year greetings are already over.

I remember when I was a kid, visiting relatives for New Year’s. Our family would walk for over two hours along a small mountain road, then stay overnight at a relative’s house. The next day, we’d visit several families before heading home. Now, by the third day of the Lunar New Year, the celebrations are already over.

Since my grandfather’s generation has passed away, now only my parents’ siblings and their families visit during the New Year. I think in another ten years, after my parents are gone, I probably won’t be visiting my cousins and relatives anymore during the holidays.

How about you? Are you still visiting relatives today? Who did you visit? Did you bring any gifts?
