Resilient Structures (RS) and CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) have entered a long-term supply agreement to harden the Greater Houston energy infrastructure against extreme weather. This partnership is part of CenterPoint’s Resiliency Initiative and will lead to a significant expansion of RS’s operations in Humble, Texas, creating over 200 new jobs. The agreement aims to provide a locally-sourced supply of high-performance composite utility poles, thereby accelerating grid strengthening efforts across CenterPoint’s 12-county service territory.
