Taigang Stainless Steel Steelmaking Plant reduces costs by 42 million yuan in the first month

Recently, it was reported from Tai Steel Stainless Steel Steelmaking Plant that in January, the plant achieved a cost reduction of 42 million yuan, with a significant decrease in scrap secondary reduction rate and steady improvement in output.

It flexibly adjusts the production pace and comprehensively guarantees a steady breakthrough in output. The chromium, nickel, and molybdenum recovery rates have significantly improved, alloy consumption has been greatly reduced, and the cost reduction effects are evident.

The plant’s scrap secondary reduction rate decreased by 24% compared to the same period last year, successfully meeting the budget targets. Among them, the stainless steel scrap secondary reduction decreased by 26% year-on-year, silicon steel scrap secondary reduction decreased by 57% year-on-year, and carbon steel scrap secondary reduction decreased by 22% year-on-year, all delivering satisfactory results.
