According to recent reports from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, by 2025, large-scale nonferrous metal industrial enterprises will achieve a total profit of over 500 billion yuan, reaching 528.45 billion yuan, a 25.6% increase compared to the previous year, setting a new record. In terms of metal varieties, aluminum, gold, and copper performed notably, with profit increases of 38 billion yuan, 21.2 billion yuan, and 17.7 billion yuan respectively, contributing 35%, 20%, and 16% to the profit growth of large-scale nonferrous metal enterprises.
Chen Xuesen, Vice President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, stated that the core factors supporting the rapid growth of China’s nonferrous metal industry benefits in 2025 mainly include high metal prices, continuous policy dividends, and expanding demand from emerging industries.
