During the first three days of the holiday, the foot traffic and revenue of 78 key pedestrian streets (commercial districts) monitored by the Ministry of Commerce increased by 4.5% and 4.8% respectively year-on-year.

Consumer demand for goods remains strong. The effects of the old-for-new policy continue to be evident. As of February 19, 28.88 million people benefited from the old-for-new consumer goods program, driving sales of 198.02 billion yuan. Among these, 612,000 vehicles were exchanged, boosting new car sales by 100.53 billion yuan. Smart products are highly favored. Major business data shows that during the first three days of the holiday, sales of smart wearable devices on key platforms increased by 19.7%, with smart glasses up 2.5 times and smart blood glucose meters up 48.6%. Sales of duty-free products on Hainan Island grew rapidly, with duty-free sales reaching 970 million yuan in the first four days, an increase of 15.8%.

Service consumption is vibrant. During the first three days of the holiday, domestic travel consumption on key platforms increased by 4.5%. Car rental orders on key platforms grew by 26%, and cross-regional orders between the north and south increased by 196%.
