According to CCTV News, on February 19th local time, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that, due to the public’s “great interest,” he will instruct the Secretary of Defense and relevant departments and agencies to initiate the identification and release of government documents related to extraterrestrial life, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

In his post, Trump stated that the declassification scope will include “any and all information” related to these “highly complex but highly intriguing and significant” topics. He concluded the message with, “God bless America.”

Trump: Obama Leaked Information on Aliens

According to @CCTV International News, on the afternoon of February 19th local time, U.S. President Trump, aboard Air Force One, responded to a Fox News reporter’s question by saying that former President Obama’s recent comments about aliens “leaked classified information,” and that Obama “should not have done that.” Trump said, “I don’t know if they (aliens) really exist… but I can tell you, he (Obama) leaked classified information, and he made a big mistake.”

On February 14th, during a podcast, Obama stated that “aliens definitely exist,” but he “has not seen any,” and that the U.S. Area 51 in Nevada “does not contain aliens”—unless it’s “a huge conspiracy that even the President of the United States is kept in the dark about.” However, a day later, he clarified on social media that, based on probability, extraterrestrial life probably exists elsewhere in the universe, but during his tenure, “I did not see any evidence that aliens have contacted humans.”

The U.S. Area 51 has long been considered by many as the landing site for aliens and a research base for extraterrestrial life, but the U.S. government has been vague when discussing this area.
